Starting and ending

Starting your trip

The car key is in the glove compartment.

Get in the car and depress the brake and the clutch to start the car.

Press the start/stop button (or put the key into the ignition) next to the steering wheel and start the car.

The dashboard display lights up.

Release the handbrake by pushing the button at the end of the handbrake and pushing it down.

After starting the car and releasing the handbrake, you can use the clutch to change gears. The Toyota Aygo has 5 gears.
