Is the battery at less than 80% capacity? If so, always connect the car to a charging point in the zone.

Is the battery at more than 80% capacity? If so, park the car in a space in the zone without a charging point.

** Have you parked the car at a charging point?** In that case, you are obliged to connect the car to the charging point. Any car that is not connected will be towed away, the costs of which will be charged to the hirer.

You can find the zone and available charging points in the MyWheels app.

To switch off the car:

1. Press the brake pedal.

2. Then switch the car into park mode by pressing the "P" knob on the side of the gear knob behind the steering wheel.

3. Release the foot brake.

4. Get out, charge the car if needed and take your belongings.

5. Close the car in the MyWheels app.

6. End your trip in de MyWheels app.

7. All done!

Please note: In the driver's chair, a pressure sensor is present. The moment you step out of the car, the Volkswagen will turn itself off and set the handbrake.
