From web to app
From July 24, 2024, MyWheels rides can only be booked via the app, and therefore no longer on the website. Below are the most frequently asked questions and the corresponding answers.
Fewer and fewer people are using the website to book MyWheels cars. In fact: 95% of our members book everything via the app. That's why we decided to work completely app-only. This is clearer for the users. And for us it saves a lot of maintenance, time that we can now spend on making the best car sharing app in the Netherlands even better.
Why will MyWheels only allow car bookings through the app in the future?
We are doing this so that we can focus our development efforts more effectively on the app. About 95% of all MyWheels rides were already booked through the app.
From when can I no longer book cars through the website?
This change will take effect on July 24, 2024. From that day, it will no longer be possible to book cars through the website.
How can I download the MyWheels app?
You can download the MyWheels app in the App store (Apple) or Play Store (Android).
What are the smartphone requirements to use the app?
Your smartphone must have at least iOS 13.4 (iPhone) or Android 6.0 (other brands).
What should I do if I don't have a smartphone or cannot use the app?
A smartphone is required to use MyWheels shared cars. If you do not have one, unfortunately, you will not be able to share cars through MyWheels.
Can I still manage my existing bookings through the website?
You can view your ride history and billing information on the site. However, you can no longer make new bookings.
What happens to my current bookings made via the website?
This transition from web to app does not affect existing reservations. Start the ride in the app to get going.
Can I still see where the MyWheels shared cars are located on the site?
Yes, you can still see where the cars are located.
How do I log in to the MyWheels app?
You can use the same login credentials for the app as for the website.
Are there any costs associated with using the app?
No, using the app is free. You only pay for booking and driving our cars, as you are used to.
What should I do if I encounter problems installing or using the app?

Can I still manage my account settings through the website?
Yes. We are not changing this for now. However, you can also do all these things in the app, so we recommend
