MyWheels in your municipality

More than just carsharing

MyWheels has been committed for over thirty years to making municipalities more liveable. As space in our cities becomes increasingly scarce, we work every day with enthusiasm on smarter mobility solutions.

Smart mobility also goes hand in hand with smart energy usage. That’s why in 2025 we launched, in collaboration with Renault and We Drive Solar, the first vehicle-to-grid cars: mobile batteries for the neighbourhood that help prevent grid congestion.

Benefits for Your Municipality

  • One MyWheels car replaces an average of 14 parking spaces
  • Lower emissions thanks to a largely electric fleet
  • Smarter energy use through Vehicle-to-Grid technology

Carsharing: a solution for mobility and net congestion

Wanneer doet jouw gemeente mee?Municipalities face the challenge of using space and energy more intelligently. MyWheels helps by reducing parking pressure, increasing green space, and providing a largely electric fleet that contributes to cleaner air. Our Renault models can even feed energy back into the grid — with promising results already in Utrecht and Eindhoven. When will your municipality join?

        Interested in the possibilities?

Car-sharing helps municipalities enhance liveability by reducing the number of private cars on the street and lowering parking pressure. MyWheels supports this with an accessible and flexible network of shared cars, including fully electric models. This encourages sustainable travel behaviour and reduces CO₂ emissions. With experience from innovative projects like bi-directional charging, we’re happy to help you explore how car-sharing can contribute to your local mobility goals.
