Awesome!!
Wilfred, Leidschendam
Yesterday I had my first experience with a free test drive in a beautiful Citroën C3. Today I rented the same car. Fantastic system, very neat car, drives exceptionally well and feels safe. All the info through the app works perfectly too! Next Friday and Saturday, I’ve rented the same car again. Truly top-notch!
Great platform!
Bram, Breda
Great platform with lots of modern electric cars. The app works really well. Excellent coverage in major cities. Perfect if you need a car a few times a month. Much cheaper than owning a car and also much better for parking pressure, the environment, and urban air quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a special driver's license for this van?

No, you can drive this van with your regular driver's license (Class B).

How much does it cost to rent a van from MyWheels?

You can rent a van starting at €4.76 per hour! The exact price of your trip depends on the duration and the number of kilometers. Enter the times and your destination in the app, and you’ll automatically see the fare. Are you new to MyWheels? Then you’ll get a 25% discount for the first 3 months.

How does renting a van work?

Renting a van works exactly the same way as renting a car through MyWheels. After you’ve created your account in the app, select the van, choose the time and destination, and book a trip. When you’re ready to drive, you can easily unlock the van with your phone. Load up and hit the road! After your trip, return the van to its designated spot. End the trip in the app, and you’re all set!

I want to use the van for business purposes. Is VAT included on the invoice?

Yes, the VAT rates are listed on the invoice. This makes it easy for you, as a self-employed person, to rent a van whenever you need one, without any unnecessary paperwork.

Are there any restrictions on what I can transport?

You can bring whatever fits, as long as you don’t exceed the 690 kg payload capacity. However, there are a few rules: no people, animals, illegal goods, or hazardous substances such as flammable, toxic, or corrosive materials. The van also cannot be used as a delivery service. And no matter what you transport, please leave it empty and clean for the next renter.

What is included in the bus rental?

Your reservation includes things like charging, maintenance, and insurance. That way, you won't be faced with any unexpected costs.

Can I take a MyWheels van to the DIY store real quick?

Yes! The van is ideal for a trip to Gamma, Hornbach or Praxis, or a home furnishings store such as IKEA or Loods5. The minimum hire period is 1 hour and you book in 15-minute increments, so you pay exactly for what you use.

Rent a van in Rotterdam: space when you need it

Do you need a delivery van in Rotterdam? With a traditional rental company, you often have to go to a specific location, wait until someone is available to handle the paperwork, and pick up the keys in person. With MyWheels, you can book an electric van in just a few minutes through the app—without any of that hassle. Our Kia PV5 Cargo vans are located throughout the city, so you don’t have to travel to a rental office first and then back again for that one job, move, or large purchase for which your own car is too small. Check out our full selection of rental vans to learn more about the Kia PV5 Cargo.

Always the right space for your project or move

Renting a van in Rotterdam is especially convenient when you need just a little more space than a regular car can offer. With a cargo area of up to 4.4 m³ and a payload capacity of 690 kg, you can easily transport a sofa, a washing machine, or a load of moving boxes. Are you a student in Rotterdam who needs to move at the end of the academic year, or are you helping a friend move out of a small apartment in Delfshaven or Kralingen? With a delivery van from MyWheels, you can handle it all in a single trip, without having to arrange for a trailer or moving trailer. Would you rather have a regular car? Then check out our car rental options in Rotterdam.

100% electric, also suitable for the zero-emission zone

While many delivery vans in the city still run on diesel, the Kia PV5 Cargo is fully electric. That means you can drive through Rotterdam’s zero-emission zone without any restrictions—something that drivers of older delivery vans in the city center are increasingly running into. With a driving range of over 400 km and fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes, you won’t have to worry about the battery during a full day of city driving.

No hassle with pickups, paperwork, or keys

Whereas at a traditional rental company you often spend an entire morning filling out forms, handling a security deposit, and waiting for an employee to become available, none of that is necessary with MyWheels. You unlock the van with your phone, drive off, and end the trip through the app. Renting a van requires no fixed subscription or long-term commitment: rates start at just €4.76 per hour, and you book in 15-minute increments, so you never pay for time you don’t use.

25% off with a Pro subscription

Do you frequently rent a van in Rotterdam—for example, for work or a recurring job? Then the MyWheels Pro subscription is worth considering. With Pro, you get a 25% discount on every trip, pay no initial fee, and can always cancel a reservation for free. New to MyWheels? Then you’ll get the Pro subscription completely free for the first three months, so you can try it out risk-free and see what it offers you. After that, the subscription ends automatically, so you don’t have to cancel anything yourself.

From Kralingen to Delfshaven: a van near you

Our vans are spread out across Rotterdam rather than being stationed at a single fixed location. Do you live in Kralingen, Delfshaven, Rotterdam-Zuid, or around Prins Alexander? The app shows you exactly which van is closest to you, so you can quickly load up and head out to your next job or appointment.

Heading to the home improvement store or IKEA? You can!

In Rotterdam, you often make large purchases just outside the city center, and a van is ideal for that. At GAMMA in Rotterdam-Blijdorp, you can load building materials in no time, and even a stop at Hornbach in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel or IKEA in Barendrecht is no problem thanks to the Kia PV5 Cargo’s spacious cargo area. With a payload capacity of 690 kg and 4.4 m³ of cargo space, you can transport in a single trip what would otherwise require several trips by car.

Rent a delivery van for business use in Rotterdam

Renting a van through MyWheels is also a great solution for self-employed professionals and businesses in Rotterdam. The VAT is itemized on the invoice, no long-term contract is required, and you only pay for the time you actually use the van. For a contractor, handyman service, or business owner who occasionally needs extra cargo space, this is often more cost-effective than owning a delivery van that sits idle the rest of the week.
