One day is 24 hours. You reserve the car for a period of up to 24 hours from the moment you pick it up. That could be, for example, from Tuesday morning at 7:00 to Wednesday morning at 7:00. It does not have to stay within a single calendar day.
You can carry unused days over to the following month. The next month you will receive the remaining days on top of the days from the new month. If you consistently drive less than expected, you can easily downgrade your bundle or temporarily pause your subscription.
Yes, you are completely free to do so. You do not have to use your days consecutively. You plan them yourself whenever it suits you, including multiple days in a row for a weekend trip, for example.
Short answer: yes. As soon as you book a day, you use one day from your bundle, regardless of how long you actually drive. A day is always 24 hours. Tip: choose the Pro or Start subscription for a short trip. That way it will not cost you a full day, and you keep your days for longer trips. You can use Flex Lease alongside Start or Pro at the same time
You just keep driving, and the extra day is automatically charged on your monthly invoice. The price per extra day depends on your bundle: €45 (5-day bundle), €40 (10-day bundle) or €35 (15-day bundle). More information can be found on our page about costs and surcharges: here.
On a day you are out and about, you have 24 hours of access to the car you have chosen. You cannot spread these hours across multiple days. You can of course use your different driving days freely within the month.
No. You reserve your trips in the app whenever it suits you. Reserving takes about 30 seconds and you do not commit to anything in advance for the whole month.
You pick a car from the MyWheels network near you each time, just like with regular car sharing. The advantage over traditional leasing: you choose the car that best fits your needs for each trip. Maximally flexible.
A fixed car is not assigned to you, so there is no literal guarantee of availability. What you do have is access to around 3,000 shared cars across the Netherlands. You can book far in advance, ensuring you have a car at the moment you need it. Cancelling is always free of charge and hassle-free with Flex Lease.
You can book in advance as far as you like. Reserving takes about 30 seconds. If your plans fall through, as a Flex Lease user you can cancel free of charge right up until the start of the reservation.
As a Flex Lease user, you have access to the full MyWheels fleet. You do not get priority over other users, but you can book unlimited in advance and cancel free of charge if your plans change.
You can request a car via https://mywheels.nl/en/deelauto-aanvragen. You will be notified as soon as a car is placed near you. If enough people in an area submit a request, that is taken into account in our placement decisions. We do not currently place cars on locations based on singular requests.

Yes. There is no kilometre limit; you can drive as many kilometres as you like. We do charge a cost-covering fee of €0.11 per kilometre driven, on top of your monthly Flex Lease rate.
Your monthly rate is all-inclusive: fuel or charging, insurance (including passengers), maintenance, a parking permit in your own neighbourhood, and 24/7 roadside assistance. What you pay separately: €0.11 per km, and any surcharge for Extra or Premium cars, and parking costs outside your own neighbourhood if you choose to use those. See the full overview here.
All MyWheels cars include a fuel or charging card. You can use it to fully charge or refuel the car at MyWheels' expense. You pay nothing extra for this yourself.
You pay afterwards. In advance, you pay a deposit. At the end of the month you receive an invoice with the costs for your driven days and kilometres.

We arrange the parking permit for the cars you use, including in areas where this is difficult or expensive. This is included with Flex Lease. When you head out with our cars, you will need to arrange and pay for parking at your destination (outside the car's home area) yourself.
No. The parking permit is valid for the car's fixed parking spot and the direct zone around it. It is not valid for other neighbourhoods, other cities or other parts of the country. If you park outside the home zone, parking costs are at your own expense.
You are fully insured on every trip, including all passengers. The excess with Flex Lease is €500 per trip. Roadside assistance is included 24/7. More information. Please note: reducing the excess to €4.99 per trip is not available with Flex Lease.

Yes, you can switch between subscriptions monthly. Simply drop us an e-mail and we'll take care of it for you.

Yes, that is allowed. That person must have a valid MyWheels account. Add them to your trip in the app before departure; only then are you correctly insured.
You can adjust your bundle every month. Simply send a timely email to [email protected] with your desired change.
Yes, you may drive our cars throughout Europe. You do not need to specify this when making your reservation. Please note: tolls, vignettes, and environmental stickers abroad are always at your own expense. Check the rules in advance for the countries you are visiting.
Yes. You can book multiple consecutive days for a weekend away or a longer trip. Simply book the days you need through the app.
Yes. Every MyWheels car has a fixed parking spot or zone. You return the car to that designated spot at the end of your booking. Parking costs outside your own neighbourhood are at your own expense.
Yes, you can. With the 15-day bundle, extra days cost €35 per day. For example: for a 22-day holiday, in addition to your monthly rate you pay 7 extra days at €35 each, which is €245 extra for the usage days.

Everyone who qualifies for MyWheels qualifies for Flex Lease. The minimum age is 21, and you must have held a driving licence for at least 1 year.
Everyone with a valid MyWheels account can get going with our cars right away. The only exception is our Premium cars (Teslas and Hyundai Ioniq 5), which can be reserved from 5 completed MyWheels trips onwards.
No, pets are unfortunately not permitted in our cars. Because the cars are shared by many different people, we keep them fresh and clean for everyone, including those with allergies. If pet hair or other remains are found in the car, fines apply. More information.
The minimum duration is just 2 months. After that, the subscription can be cancelled monthly with no penalties or extra costs.
